LOCATION:
Located in vibrant Downtown Portland right across from Powells Books, The Hideout is tucked away in a charming historic building. Itโs a fun area to explore before or after your appointment.
You will receive a confirmation email the day before your appointment and a confirmation text the day of your appointment with details needed to access the studio. This is an appointment only space.
PARKING:
-Street parking is free before 1 pm on Sundays
-Right across the street 362 SW 10th ave/ you can see your car from the window
-Pearl District/ just across Burnside & 10th
-Biking in? there's indoor bike parking available, reach out beforehand for the code
The Hideout is a clean-air haircut focused studioโfree from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances.
Nourishing and styling products are thoughtfully selected with a commitment to non-toxic, simple ingredients from small batch local companies
HOW SHOULD YOU ARRIVE FOR YOU APPOINTMENT?
Please come with your hair clean, lightly styled in its natural state without heavy products or the manipulation of ties or clips so your natural texture can best be served.
HOW FAR OUT CAN YOU BOOK?
Appointments may be booked up to two months in advance
CANCELLATION/LATE POLICY:
Please cancel or reschedule no sooner than 24 hours, if something comes up please reach out.
-cancel within 48hrs= 50% charge of service booked
-cancel, no-show or reschedule within 24hrs= 100% charge of service booked
ARE ADJUSTMENTS OFFERED?
The goal is for you to feel good in your hair. Minor adjustments are offered within 7 days of your appointment, on a case-by-case basis. Due to the personal and creative nature of haircutting, the studio does not offer refunds.
CAN YOU BRING A FRIEND?
The Hideout is a small and intimate space, but a +1 (partner, friend, family member) is totally welcome as long as they are respectful, non-distracting and can give us space to focus during your appointment.
IS THE STUDIO KID FRIENDLY?
The studio warmly welcomes guest over 10 years and older. If your child is under 10, please reach out as younger clients are accepted on a case-by-case basis
